Workshops in March
Explore your creativity and experience the beautiful effects of working with flowers through learning the art of mindfully designing lush, sustainable floral pieces at our upcoming workshops. Take the time out for yourself to explore, have conversations and immerse yourself whilst you create. These sessions will be held in the heritage listed cinema building of Victor Harbor and historic Old Dairy building of Myponga. More workshops are currently being planned for future dates including collaborations with Fleurieu based artists and held at various venues.
18 March 2023 – Fiori and Clay - Fera Flores is proud to collaborate with Flowstatemindfulclay in hosting the fiori and clay workshop. Participants will be mindfully guided to hand-build a clay vessel, followed by curating their own florals which they can take home – using locally sourced flowers. The session will be held at the lush surrounds by the Fera Flores studio and in a beautiful 100 year old heritage listed building on the main street of Victor Harbor. The afternoon will be filled with conversations, clay and flowers. Nourishing herbal teas and treats will be served. All materials are provided. Vessels will be taken away and fired for you.

31 March 2023 – Fera Flores will be hosting with Valley of Yore - Myponga, a morning where participants will create their own vessel based table centre piece, using locally grown seasonal florals. Given some guidance and knowledge about how to create using current sustainable florist practices, participants will be free to experiment – mindfully flowing and whimsical is encouraged – in creating their piece unique to them. At the end of the session participants will take home their floral vessels and materials. Take some time out to join us in the historic Old Dairy building located in the flourishing township of Myponga – for conversations, herbal tea pots and sweet treats which will be served.
